BMW has been testing it’s electric M3 car for a while, and it does seem that the infrastructure and details will soon turn into a reality. The car is likely to enter the market in 2027, so there’s still a lot of time. For those wondering about the BMW M3 price in India, official figures are yet to be released, but it’s safe to expect a premium tag similar to other high-performance M models.
The upcoming M3 might get wider wheel arches that give it an aggressive stance. The braking setup looks serious too—with large discs that fill up almost the entire alloy wheel and drilled rotors on both axles to help cool things down faster during hard braking. The flush door handles won’t follow the chunky, boxy design seen on models like the new 5 Series. Instead, they’re going for a sleeker, more streamlined look. Inside, a glimpse of the cabin was revealed, includes a next-gen heads-up display neatly integrated at the base of the windscreen—something that definitely adds to the car’s high-tech appeal.
BMW has confirmed that a petrol version of M3 is also on the way, though it won’t come close to matching the performance of this electric version, which is expected to produce between 600bhp and 650bhp.The official debut is set for late 2026, with the new M3 expected to arrive at European dealerships in the first few months of 2027. Compared to rivals in the segment, BMW M3 competitors like the Audi RS5 or Mercedes-AMG C63 will have tough competition ahead.
