Mercedes Benz is all set to launch the new gen AMG GT sports car in India. Including this second gen car, Mercedes-AMG’s India line-up will expand to nine models. The AMG GT will be available in two variants: GT 63 4Matic+ and GT 63 Pro 4Matic+, Let’s get to know more about Mercedes AMG GT.
The new Mercedes AMG GT and GT Pro will be launching in India on 27 June, 2025. The pricing for both the cars is expected to be 3 Crore to 3.3 Crore (ex-showroom). The detailed pricing will be announced at tomorrow’s launch. Booking for both the cars will also start at the launch as well.
New Mercedes-AMG GT engine and performance
- GT 63: Packs 585hp and 800Nm of torque, that’s 100Nm more than the previous-gen AMG GT R!
- GT 63 Pro: Gets an even bigger boost with 612hp and 850Nm of torque.
Both models use a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, delivering excellent acceleration and grip. Key Point to Note:
- 0–100 km/h: Just 3.2 seconds
- 0–200 km/h: 11.4 sec (GT 63), 10.9 sec (GT 63 Pro)
- Top Speed: 315 km/h (GT 63), 317 km/h (GT 63 Pro)
New Mercedes AMG GT Features
The new gen car is larger than it’s predecessor which implies spacious interiors and more cabin space. It has a 2+2 seating layout instead of being a strict 2-seater.

This enigmatic car includes a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and an 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Comfort is taken up a notch with Nappa leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting to set the mood.
