MG Motors India revealed the details of it’s all-electric car M9. The specifications of battery size, range and features have been enlisted. M9 bookings have been started from May via MG Select for a token amount of Rs. 51,000. This will be the first MPV of MG in India. Let’s get into the details!
MG M9 Exterior
- It dimensions are 5,200mm in length, 2,000mm in width and 1,800mm in height.
- Trapezoidal grille flanked by LED headlights above which are placed the connected DRLs.
- 19-inch alloy wheels wearing self-healing Continental ContiSeal tyres
- The rear doors of the car slide open and are assisted electrically.
MG M9 Interior
- Leather and Suede has been used for the interiors
- 12.23-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch driver’s display
- It has electrically adjustable, heated, ventilated and massage-enabled driver and passenger seats.
- The second row, too, offers massage, ventilation and heating function, all of which can be handled via the touchscreen.

MG M9 Safety Features
- It has state-of-the-art safety features like & airbags, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera.
- It has full 5-star rating in Australian crash tests, yet being tested by the BNCAP.
MG M9 Battery
- As per the brand’s internal testing, it has a range of 548km on a single charge.
- MG M9 is powered by 245hp, 350Nm front motor.
- It gets charged in 90 minutes by the 160kW DC fast charger.
MG M9 Car Price in India
Although official numbers have not been discloses yet, the feature-packed MPV is expected to be priced at around Rs 65 lakh, ex-showroom.
