Kia had announced the electric version of Kia Carens, called Kia Carens Clavis. According to Acko Drive, the Kia Carens Clavis will be launched on July 15, 2025. Although no official statement has come yet. Here are some details about the anticipated Kia Clavis.
Expected Exterior of Kia Carens Clavis EV:
The exterior and silhouette will be the same as Kia Clavis although there are expected to be certain changes to set it apart from the ICE version. It will have front fender-mounted charging port, revised LED headlamps and DRLs, blanked-off grille and redesigned tail lamps with a connecting light bar.
Expected Interior of Kia Carens Clavis EV:
Dual-tone navy and beige interiors with ventilated seats and a spacious cabin just like it’s ICE version launched earlier this year. Changes in steering wheel design and position of gearlever to increase space between front seats should be expected.
Expected Features and Safety of Clavis EV:
The Carens EV is expected to come with Level 2 ADAS, drive modes, rear cross-traffic alert and avoidance, branded audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated seats, sunroof, and many other features.
Kia Clavis EV colors:
The Kia Clavis will be sold in these three colors (changes to be expected):
- White
- Black
- Red
Kia Clavis Engine:
While Kia has not given any information regarding the powertrain and engine for the new EV, rumors are it will share the same battery options as the Creta Electric which implied it will have 51.4kWh and 42kWh units paired with a single electric motor, claimed to return a range of up to 473km on a single charge.
After seeing the good response received by Kia Carens Clavis launched earlier this year, the EV is set upon a similar amazing journey. With stat-of-the-art features, great designs and facilities, the Kia Clavis EV is going to take the Indian market by the storm.
