The model has the standard 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 derived from Mercedes just like the previous gen model. Although, the power has been increased by 15 hp which makes the power output to 680hp. The torque stays the same at 800Nm, but now reaches its peak between 3,000rpm and 6,000rpm – slightly higher than the standard Vantage, which peaked at 2,750rpm. All that power goes to the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

Aston Martin Vantage S Chassis and Suspension Changes

Aston Martin has made a few smart changes to the Vantage S for better performance and comfort. The front dampers have been adjusted to give a more responsive feel while cornering, and the rear springs are now softer to improve ride quality at low speeds. Even the rear transaxle mounts are 10% softer, helping the powertrain move more smoothly with the body.

Instead of rubber bushings, the rear subframe is directly mounted to the body, making the car feel more agile and sharper while steering through corners. Aston Martin also tweaked the suspension setup to boost grip and improve handling balance.

It has an ‘S’ badge on the fenders, new optional 21-inch satin black alloy wheels and bronze brake calipers, and most prominently, a full-width decklid spoiler. Inside the Vantage S, you’ll find special ‘S’ logos on the door sills and seat headrests, along with sporty carbon fibre and Alcantara finishes as standard. There’s also an optional package that adds red highlights to things like the drive mode dial, seat belts, and stitching for a bolder look.

You still get all the premium features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital driver’s display of the same size, ADAS features, and more tech-packed comforts.
