BMW has started to take pre-bookings of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe in India today. You can book the car on BMW’s official website for Rs 1.5 lakh as a token. The actual prices will be revealed on July 17. Now, let’s get to the more interesting deets of this beauty,.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe will be offered only the petrol variant as of now and in two variants- 218 M Sport and 218 M Sport Pro. The new model will be available in four colors- Black Sapphire, Alpine White, Brooklyn Grey Metallic, and M Portimao Blue Metallic.

The car is powered by a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine and it offers 156bhp and 230Nm. Plus it has a seven speed automatic transmission

Firstly, you should note that this Gran Coupe is larger than it’s pervious iteration. The new gen car has dimensions as 4,546mm in length and 1,445mm in height. It has got a boot space of 430 litres. When compared to the outgoing model, it has sharper design, slimmer adaptive LED headlights and an additional backlight grille.

The sedan is designed as the brand’s typical minimalist theme and in dark mocha interiors. Features include 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen , 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, automatic parking, a wireless charger, an ADAS suite, and many more.

The current BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe starts at ₹44.4 lakh, so the new-generation model is likely to be priced from around ₹50 lakh.
