
Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki have launched many beloved cars till now, and yet there are still more to come. Hyundai has planned to launch 26 new products till 2030 whereas Maruti Suzuki is focusing on expanding its hybrid product line. Hence, here is the hybrid SUVs expected from Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki in the Indian Automobile market.
1. New Hyundai C-SUV

This SUV is expected to be manufactured at its recently acquired plant in Talegaon. It will be a three row model that might fall between the Alcazar and Tucson. Though the technical information is yet to come out, this new products-potentially hybrid will come by 2027.
2. Maruti Suzuki Escudo

A model that will fall between the Brezza and Grand Vitara which is expected to be called Escudo is in the making. This will be a five- seater with dimensions greater than brezza. Which implies, improved cabin space and luggage capacity. Escudo will be available in 1.5 litre mild-hybrid petrol and 1.5 litre strong-hybrid petrol.
3. Hyundai Palisade

Hyundai Palisade is likely reported and expected to be in the premium price segment as it will be at the brand’s top ICE SUV range. This hybrid version will be three-row and likely to hit the Indian market in 2028, reported to be locally assembled as well. To form this hybrid system, the turbo engine of 2.5l will work together with dual electric motors.
4. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid

Taking inspiration from its own Dzire, the new Fronx hybrid might be launched in the near future. With Maruti Suzuki developing a strong hybrid system, Fronx and a compact MPV with hybrid system may be in the talks.
5. New-Gen Hyundai Creta

With a huge success of Creta, the new version of hybrid Creta is in the run targeting 2027 as their launch year. The current engine and gearbox might be retained. That said, there will be significant mechanical changes as well as a complete makeover in the interior and exterior design. This hybrid will likely combine an electric drive unit with a large battery pack and 1.5 litre petrol motor. This will improve fuel efficiency and cutdown tailpipe emissions.
